A Total Kitchen Makeover

This kitchen makeover included moving a doorway, rearranging appliances, and utilizing every available inch to make the space usable and attractive. Varying heights and depths create an eye-pleasing effect with the crowned antique white, glazed cabinets. We introduced easier access with a pull-out pantry and pull-out trays in the base cabinets. Pull-out spice rack, trash & recycling, and spring-loaded mixer shelves keep things at their fingertips.

The kitchen is accented with a solid-surface quartz counter top with a stainless steel under-mount sink and is anchored with a Peacon wood engineered floor. A matching quartz sill was added to a bow window in the breakfast area for continuity.

Kitchen Remodel on a Budget

Just because your kitchen needs a makeover doesn’t mean you have to pay a fortune. This was a reface job using the old cabinets, adding paint and crown molding, new high definition laminate counter tops with an under-mount sink, new flooring and lighting. The result? The homeowner gets a new-feel kitchen without starting from scratch.

Older Home Gets a New Kitchen

This 1940′s two-story needed a kitchen update badly. Previous work presented a 2×4 grid suspended ceiling with updated electrical and added AC ducts above it. Keeping with the 40′s  motif  we kept and repaired the plaster walls and ceiling. A wall was added between the kitchen and the laundry to accommodate two opposing 18″ pocket doors. A window was added to the laundry and a new wet wall for plumbing. The kitchen had no heat. This was remedied with two under-cabinet, toe kick hot water heaters with fan boosters. The kitchen, laundry, powder room, and basement entrance was covered with 13″ porcelain tile. Granite counters with a tile back splash accents beautiful maple cabinets. This is a spacious kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, an eat-at peninsula and plenty of cabinet space.
